( Question 3 ) What have you learned from your audience feedback?

while doing my work i realised just how important audience feedback is whether it be from my teachers or classmates, this is because i need to know how to attract my audience to my media product successfully.

we regularly have show and tell meetings within out media class to discuss the different way that we liked/disliked parts from each others work and offered ways in which we could alter or change them to make them more fitting for the target audience.

some feedback i received from Allan and harry:

after showing Allan this mock up of my film poster during one of our meetings he said that the text ''looked too comical''
( which i agreed) and this is how i made the decision to change it to a more serious look which made my piece more horror thriller rather that horror-com, harry also said this when i asked him he said he felt it looked too 'out of place' for the type of film trailer that i produced, and it wouldn't link together as well as a more mature look for the film poster.

heres the first poster i shown them:

and after there feedback i took note of what they said and edited my film poster for my second draft, and now this is what it looks like , which actually made it to be part of my final piece.

after showing Allan and Harry my first draft film trailer which is below, they gave me some most needed feedback on it which i have stated below the video.

after i shown them this first final draft they made a comment on the intro being ''a bit slow'' and ''amateur'', which i agreed , which then influenced me to change this and showing them the new one i had created a couple of days later they offered me more feedback below this video beneath.

after showing them this new trailer they both liked the new one i have made and said the it looked more like something from an 'official trailer"

i shown them my first draft for my film magazine cover which is below, and after looking at it they both said that they loved the image i used and that i look ''scary'' and ''psycho'' which is what i intended when i took the picture of my subject Jess. however they said the the posters background look a bit "blank" and "too plain" and they said that maybe some blood or something could emphasise that fact that she is ''crazy"

after taking not of there feedback i looked at what i could do to change this part of my my film magazine cover and decided i liked the idea that Allan and Harry had suggested which was to add a blood background to my cover to add that more "crazy" look which then i did and the day after doing so i shown them the changes i had made to it and gathered there opinions which are below the image beneath.

after showing them my re-drafted magazine cover they said that it looked a lot more "deranged'' and ''perfectly fits'' with the film trailer and poster that id already created. which i was very happy with this feedback.
